“Ten animation works that invite us to look again. Drawing from the material world around them, the films move between what can be seen and what can only be imagined. Through shifting rhythms, abstract forms, and the manipulation of images and materials, animation becomes a way of slowing down and drawing closer—of lingering with an image until something beneath its surface begins to emerge. In the space between observation and transformation, these films create a cinema of attention, where looking becomes a way of feeling, questioning, and discovering.”
Revolutions per Minute Festival is an artist run festival dedicated to short-form poetic, personal, experimental film, essay film, animation, documentary, video and audiovisual performance.
RPM Fest 2026 is co-hosted by Goethe-institut Boston and Harvard University (CAMLab) from November 5-9, 2026.
